Norwich and Norfolk Trainee Solicitors' Group

The Trainee Solicitors' Group (TSG) campaigns to support tomorrow's solicitor today. It aims to promote and protect the interests and welfare of both present and future members of the Group, at all stages of training.

The Group also strives to both maintain and further good working relations between both trainee solicitors and those for whom they work.

Reaching approximately 48,000 members throughout England and Wales the group is also recognised by the Law Society for representing students, Those seeking a training contract post completion of the LPC, Trainee Solicitors and Solicitors who have been qualified for up to one year.

The TSG Norwich and Norfolk Branch approached G400 Design Studios to create from scratch a new attractive website to promote its upcoming function, The Trainee Solicitors' Group Annual Masquerade Ball.

After discussing initial design ideas with the client a themed design was created to house the new online information portal for the TSG. The website now enables members of the group to request tickets to the event through the website, which then forwards the requests to one of the event team with a unique reference number given both to the member and the TSG. After approval the tickets are immediately sent to the member.

The website includes all information in relation to the event, including entertainment, travel, charity and ticket sections, each with its own area of the website to enable users to find content easier.

All code on this project was written from scratch using HTML to HTML 4.01 Transitional standard, CSS and PHP creating an interoperable Web page for the TSG.
